Accessing Databases

Use the steps below when you need to access eBooks or databases.

When you get to the login screen (shown below):

  1. Enter your X-ID as the Borrower ID
  2. Enter your 6-digit birthday (mmddyy) as the PIN/Password
  3. Click the Login button
  4. On the next page, click the Connect to Database button

Unsure of where to begin your search?  Here are a few databases covering a wide range of topics that might help you get started.


Finding Magazines or Journals

Your instructor may ask you read an article from a subject specific magazine or journal. When you know the title of the magazine or journal you need, use the Journal Finder. It will tell you if the library has access to the full-text article.
